Parent/Teen Mediation brings teens and their parents or guardians together to help facilitate communication and a resolution to the typical conflicts faced by families. We commonly mediate conflicts over curfew, chores, school, friends, music, clothes, use of the car or phone, communication, respect, privacy, independence, dating, sexual orientation, standoffs with step-parents or similar issues. A team of trained mediators (one adult and one teen when possible) helps the participants talk about the issues and develop mutually agreeable solutions.
