For over 5 years PCRC has partnered with the Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue Group of San Mateo for their unique and successful approach to dialogue community. The Dialogue Group in 2011 celebrated 19 years and 231 meetings of local Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women and men ages 20 to 80, an international model of successful engagement and face-to-face communication that has resulted in a worldwide impact. Their experience is that “an enemy is one whose story we have not heard.” The Dialogue has co-produced five cost-free films modeling a listening-to-learn approach and successful relationship building: (1) PEACEMAKERS: Palestinians & Jews Together at Camp, (2) DIALOGUE AT WASHINGTON HIGH, (3) CROSSING LINES IN FRESNO, (4) ABRAHAM’S VISION: Graduation Day! and in January 2012, (5) DIALOGUE IN NIGERIA. These films have educated more than 5,000 individuals representing 50 states, and 79 countries. The Dialogue Group is sustained with voluntary, tax-deductible donations.
